Idyllwild’s Earth Fair committee presents an annual event focusing on environmental concerns that effect us locally and globally. The goal is to balance festivity and education as we celebrate the diversity and abundance of the natural world and learn to care more adequately for its optimal survival and preservation. The fair hopes to inspire and motivate Earth Fair participants to become actively involved in this pursuit through interaction with those providing information and expertise in such areas as solar energy, multi-species preservation, recycling, earth-friendly products, fire safety, composting, water conservation, and more.
The Idyllwild Earth Fair Committee feels that a healthy environment begins in ones own community. They are committed to providing an opportunity to become educated and take action on an array of significant and compelling environmental issues in our regional area, and beyond. The Idyllwild Earth Fair promises an enhancing and meaningful experience to all involved.
