In celebration of Bear Awareness Week, the wildlife park will offer displays and informational boards about all species of bears. Each night the park will hold special discounted bear feeds and educational talks.
On
May 17, the park will host the Teddy Bear Picnic for kids of all ages. There
will be bear artifacts, educational bear games, informational/coloring bear
packets and a special appearance by Smokey the Bear. At the end of the picnic,
everyone will visit the bear area for a special enrichment tour/ keeper
talk.
