License Plate for Florida Wildlife: The Conserve Wildlife license plate was established by Defenders on behalf the Wildlife Foundation of Florida and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. "This plate will help conserve the diversity of wildlife that makes Florida such a very special part of the world. By purchasing this plate, citizens will be helping Florida wildlife from A to Z including anhingas, bears, cranes, dolphins, eagles, falcons, gopher tortoises, herons, Key deer, loons, manatees, owls, panthers, roseate spoonbills, scrub jays, sea turtles, wildflowers, the recently designated state butterfly, the Zebra swallow tail and many more." The tag raises nearly $500,000 a year for programs of the Florida Wildlife Commission that conserve Florida native wildlife and habitat.
