Add Phone Numbers

Once you've downloaded the card, take a few minutes to fill it in. Here's how.

State Wildlife Agency Phone Numbers

Go to www.wildlifeactionplans.org. Find the states you regularly drive in using the dropdown menu on the right side of the page.  Phone numbers can be found in the " Get In Touch" box. Add the phone numbers you need to the card.

State Transportation Agency Phone Numbers

Go to www.fhwa.dot.gov/webstate.htm. Click on the states where you drive. Add their phone numbers to the card. 

Local U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Phone Numbers

Call 1-800-344-WILD to get local numbers for the areas where you drive. Only contact the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service if you think an endangered or imperiled species in involved.

Local Wildlife Rehabilitators

If you find an injured animal, please contact a local wildlife rehabilitator. Find the wildlife rehabilitators closest to your home town and where you drive most often. Add their numbers to the card.
