Anna McMurray
Conservation Economics Associate
Areas of Expertise: Benefits and Costs of Wildlife Habitat Conservation
Anna conducts research and assists the Conservation Economics team in analyzing the costs and benefits of biodiversity conservation and economic incentives to protect wildlife habitat. Before joining Defenders of Wildlife in 2007, Anna was an intern for California State Assemblymember John Laird, worked as a canvasser for Environment California, and was an active volunteer for CALPIRG.
Anna received her bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies/Economics from the University of California-Santa Cruz in 2006.
